Lidaer ground screw systems

What to share about your site

Organize the ground, access and structure information before product selection.

Timber waterside boardwalk on steel foundation supports

Organize the ground, access and structure information before product selection.

01. Record the location and layout.

Share the project location, a layout drawing and the proposed support positions. Site photographs help describe the ground surface, surrounding structures and the working area. Identify the intended use of the supported structure and any relevant project design information.

02. Gather the available ground information.

Provide the available ground investigation or soil report with its location and date. Distinguish documented information from visual observations. Conditions can vary across a site and with depth. If information is missing, identify the gap so the project team can discuss the investigation or testing needed.

03. Describe access and constraints.

Show how installation equipment can reach the work area. Include restricted entrances, slopes, overhead constraints and working-space limitations. Relevant underground services must be identified through the project’s appropriate checks before installation planning is finalized.

04. Connect the site to the structure.

The intended loads, support layout and mounting details belong in the same review as the ground information. Drawings of posts, beams or mounting plates help clarify the foundation connection. Include level differences and the intended height above the ground.

05. Request the applicable review.

Send the available documents and a concise list of questions. The supplied ground-condition document can support the discussion, but it does not replace a site investigation or a project-specific foundation design.

This guide introduces project preparation. It does not replace project-specific foundation design or equipment operating instructions.
